EPALLOY® 8220
EPALLOY 8220 is a very low viscosity epoxidized Bisphenol F resin providing low hydrolyzable chloride content, a high degree of reactivity and outstanding chemical resistance. It contains no diluent and is compatible with all standard curatives and most resin systems and solvents. EPALLOY 8220 is excellent for use in 100% solids coatings and trowelable flooring where room temperature cure and chemical resistance to concentrated acids and aggressive solvents are required. Its exceptionally low viscosity makes 8220 the preferred material for blending with Bisphenol A resins to eliminate crystallization. Blends of EPALLOY 8220 with standard Bisphenol A based resins will exhibit superior properties compared to conventionally diluted resins.
