EPALLOY® 8370

EPALLOY 8370 is a 3.9 functional epoxy phenol novolac resin exhibiting lower viscosity than competitively available commercial alternatives. Close process controls produce a resin significantly lower in viscosity than other epoxy novolacs of similar functionality. EPALLOY 8370 combines low hydrolyzable chloride content with good reactivity. It is compatible with all standard curing agents and most resin systems and solvents. Because of its lower functionality, EPALLOY 8370 is excellent for use in hot melt prepreg, filament winding, circuit boards, coating and casting applications where high performance at elevated temperature is required.
