EPALLOY®7138
EPALLOY 7138 is a very low viscosity non-crystallizing modified Bisphenol A resin which combines low hydrolyzable chlorides with a high degree of reactivity and good chemical resistance. It is compatible with all standard curatives and most resin systems and solvents.
EPALLOY 7138 is excellent for 100% solids coatings and trowelable floorings requiring room temperature, cure and chemical resistance to concentrated acids and aggressive solvents. Its exceptionally low hydrolyzable chlorides make it the preferred material for electronic encapsulants and laminates. EPALLOY 7138 is an excellent base resin for low VOC coatings with higher temperature and chemical resistance versus conventionally diluted resins. Cure speeds are also not reduced like typical low viscosity Bisphenol A resins or those modified with reactive diluents.
