Nychem® 1577 Acylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene Latex
Nychem 1577 is one of our Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Emulsion offerings. This line offers a balance of very good resistance to both polar and nonpolar solvents. Nychem 1577 also possesses very good toughness/resilience, and tear and abrasion resistance. Toughness, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance can be further enhanced though either vulcanization or by adding external crosslinking agents such as melamines, epoxies, phenolics or metal complexes. Nychem 1577 is a noncarboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene styrene polymer latex that is stabilized with natural surfactants so it exhibits excellent water and alkali resistance and, if desired, can be easily destabilized. It is a very firm and durable polymer with excellent film clarity and gloss. Common application is RFL dip.
