Nychem® N2000 Carboxylated Nitrile-Butadiene Latex
Nychem N2000 one of our Specialty Emulsion offerings. It is a highly carboxylated butadiene acrylonitrile polymer latex with a low nitrile content featuring a combination of good oil, grease and hydrocarbon resistance, toughness/resilience, and tear and abrasion resistance. Toughness, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance can be further enhanced though either vulcanization or by adding external crosslinking agents such as melamines, epoxies, phenolics or metal complexes. Nychem N2000 is stabilized with synthetic surfactants so it exhibits superior mechanical stability. It is approved under FDA regulations 175.105 (adhesives) and 177.2600 (rubber articles). Common application is dipping.
