Nychem® N4000M Carboxylated Nitrile-Butadiene Latex
Nychem N4000M one of our Specialty Emulsion offerings. It is a highly carboxylated butadiene acrylonitrile polymer latex with a high nitrile content featuring a combination of excellent oil, grease and hydrocarbon resistance, toughness/resilience, and tear and abrasion resistance. Toughness, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance can be further enhanced though either vulcanization or by adding external crosslinking agents such as melamines, epoxies, phenolics or metal complexes. Nychem N4000M is stabilized with synthetic surfactants so it exhibits superior mechanical stability. It is approved under FDA regulations 175.105 (adhesives) and 177.2600 (rubber articles). Common application is dipping.
